Emoji Project: Pepper Shaker
For my emoji project I decided to create a pepper shaker. When I conducted research, I noticed that there is only a salt shaker emoji and not a pepper shaker. This was surprisng because these salt and pepper are commonly paired with each other. I'm still trying to figure out the shading so that it can look like it's in a glass shaker.
Hi Queen! I think this is a great idea for an emoji and your execution of it is really strong. I also think it is clear you did your research and because there is a salt shaker but no pepper shaker, this is a really smart addition to the emoji collection. One thing I might suggest is to make the bottom half of the shaker a little less "drawing like" and try to match it more to the top. They feel a bit separate to me but I think if they were to match up this would be super successful!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a strong emoji idea! I am shocked that there isn't a pepper shaker emoji that already exists. I agree with Julia in the sense that if you matched up the top to the bottom of the shaker it would be a very strong contender to add to the Lexicon family!
